When you adopt a dog, you have to think about all the aspects of owning a dog, including the barking. There are ways to train a dog not to bark excessively, but, a dog has to bark somethimes….it is his way of communicating. For some people it is an offence to have a barking dog around them, they think that dogs should be seen and not heard. This is slightly unfair given that the bark is a dog’s voice and like yourself it uses it to communicate.
